Vortex is actually great.

There’s no joke here, Vortex is a shockingly good Deluxe Transformer.

Robot mode

Look at Vortex and tell me he doesn’t look great, especially for a Transformer from this era.

Vehicle mode

Vortex is a red Cybertronian helicopter… and he looks weirdly unsettling in this mode. It’s definitely a great vehicle mode but something, something about it just makes me feel uneasy.

Closing

Vortex is a fun Transformer with two great modes which would surprise anyone who’s handled some of the other FOC Combaticons. There are a few things that bug me about FOC Vortex but they’re so minor that you’ll probably just not notice them after awhile.
