Best movie Megatron you could ever add to your collection. Hands down.

2007 Movie Leader? Put it out to pasture.

ROTF Leader? Put it in the bin.

TLK Leader? Close but no dice.

Rendsora is the best Bayverse Megatron that you can get and he’s a knockoff. He’s a high quality, massively upscaled and significantly improved knockoff… but he’s still a knockoff at the end of the day.

Wei Jiang took the TLK Voyager Megatron, upsized it to Supreme/Commander size and gave him die-cast metal parts as well as better posability. And that made what is possibly the best Bayverse Megatron ever produced.

It’s really weird… I’m one of the few people who prefer the TLK Leader Megatron to the TLK Voyager Megatron. But somehow the Voyager but massive is the best out of the three of those Megatrons to me.

Interestingly, even though Wei Jiang is supposed to be out of business, Rendsora seems to have been reissued somewhat recently with a new box. I personally saw one this year but apparently it’s been floating around since early 2024. With the benefit of hindsight, I should have taken a picture of it.
