Yes, this guy is Taz in my head.
Tasmania Kid over here isn’t supposed to be Taz… but I don’t know anything about Japanese Beast Wars so I’m repurposing this guy as Taz in my head. In solidarity with Looney Toons, screw David Zavlaz because that man did all of them dirty.
My boi Taz the Tasmanian Devil will have his revenge one day.
But for now, think about your favourite Taz short and let’s get this review going.
Alternate mode

Tasmania Kid is a Tasmanian devil which is a unique beast mode for a Transformer to have and it’s fun that Hasbro’s willing to do weird animal alt modes again. Tasmania Kid looks… kinda unsettling honestly.
Transformation
The transformation is a bit of a shocker for a Core class figure.
Robot mode

Tasmania Kid looks surprisingly great in robot mode.
Gimmicks
Some Core Class figures have unique gimmicks and some don’t. Tasmania Kid is one of the ones that doesn’t have one.
Toy or collectible?
Tasmania Kid is a toy that can be enjoyed by collectors of all ages.
He’s small but Tasmania Kid packs in a lot for a Transformer this size and that more than justifies his RRP to me.
Closing
Tasmania Kid is such an odd and charming little guy that I can’t help but love him. He’s a solid Transformer that gets a wholehearted recommendation from me.
