Is this guy… Sideways back from the dead?

Dead End is supposed to be a vampire and Sideway’s biggest contribution to the Revenge Of The Fallen movie was dying horribly by getting sliced in half by Sideswipe. Not hard to make the connection that they brought back Sideways as a vampire.

Vehicle mode

Dead End is supposed to be an Audi… but because of licensing reasons he’s only something closely resembling an Audi.

Not much playability here in car mode, all you can do is roll him around.

Transformation

Dead End’s transformation is a bit more complicated than it needed to be but it’s still a fun time if you don’t rush it.

The Automorph feature that transforms his chest is a cool touch.

Robot mode

I always thought the Sideways figure didn’t look very appealing but man, Dead End looks fierce.

Gimmicks

Dead End has Mech Alive gears in his arms… and they’re kinda underwhelming.

Dead End (and by extension Sideways) has a random Automorph gimmick for some reason.

Toy or collectible?

Dead End leans more into being a collectible.

Closing

Dead End is another random repaint as a different character that I absolutely love even though he has almost no fiction behind him.
