3rd Party Transformers tend to be pretty pricey. Luckily, KOs are a thing!

What you’re looking at right now is MFT Swooper which is an OSKO of DX9 War In Pocket Skyer. And of course, MFT Swooper is based on G1 Swoop.

MFT released two versions of Swooper. A boxed version with more goodies and a striped down, carded version. The carded version was considerably cheaper than the boxed one and is what you’re looking at right now.

I picked up mine from a discount chain store called Mr. DIY but he pops up in certain supermarkets across Malaysia. This carded version retails for about RM30 ($8) but mine was on discount for about RM20 ($5).

Gotta say that the quality on show here is impressive.

This is not a shampoo bottle plastic bootleg.

The plastic is high quality, all the tolerances are pretty much perfect and all the paint apps are done cleanly. The only thing that warrants a complaint is Swooper’s crotch plate because it keeps popping off whenever you try to transform Swooper.

Swooper only comes with his twin missile launchers… which is enough of accessories if you ask me. All the extras that come with the more expensive release of Swooper don’t seem necessary to me.

If you like Dinobots, go ahead and give Swooper a shot. I’m very surprised by how much I’ve been playing with him, especially in pterodactyl mode.
