More One Piece merch!   

At this point, you’ve probably already guessed that I got this guy from the claw machine. Luffy was a great looking prize that I had to have… and unfortunately went over budget to get. In hindsight, that was stupid because it may have ended up being a dud like the Brotherhood Ace we looked at earlier.

I’m glad to say that’s not the case here! Luffy looks great! There’s no molding or colouring problems here and the paint problems are minimal. Everything looks just about right!

Luffy looks great in a suit! His suit, tie and overcoat look great on him. But he’s wearing sandals with them…

Interesting choice Luffy.

My only real gripe is that I don’t like his stand. I’d prefer a normal stand compared to the small foothold that Luffy comes with. It’s a bit of an eyesore and isn’t too great at keeping Luffy standing.

This particular bootleg goes for about RM80 ($20) while the original goes for RM200 ($50). Luffy’s well worth the price he goes for. Be careful though! Apparently there’s another cheaper bootleg that’s much worse quality than this one floating around out there.
