Transformers Prime Cyberverse Legion Wheeljack Review

Small samurai.

I mostly ignored the Prime Cyberverse figures when they were released back in 2012. Mostly.

But I recently got a whole box of Prime Legions and Commanders for a great price. So let’s start off the reviews with a look at lil’ Wheeljack here!

Vehicle mode

Wheeljack is a white sports car that’s of undetermined model. It’s impressive how much painted detail there is and how little robot mode kibble is visible from every angle of the car mode. The only real sticking point is the gap at the back of the car mode.

For playability, Wheeljack can roll on all four wheels fairly well. You can also plug in two weapons using the 3mm holes on his roof.

Transformation

It’s a Legion class transformation which means it’s simple and honestly a bit boring. But it’s fast and it’s impressive that there aren’t any faux parts used in the transformation.

Robot mode

Wheeljack looks great in robot mode. Not only does he look great but his chest window is his actual windshield which I always find satisfying. The proportions are a bit off and the details aren’t all there but Wheeljack is impressively show accurate for a Legend/Legion.

Also, Wheeljack has weapons! He’s got his twin swords from the show. They’re translucent blue and look great.

Wheeljack is well-articulated for his size. He’s got ball-jointed shoulders and hips as well as bending knees. His feet also can point down.

Toy or collectible?

Toy.

Wheeljack can still be had for cheap even if he’s a bit harder to find now. He’s got two good modes and has two swords. Perfect fun for the kiddies!

Closing

Wheeljack is a very well executed Legion Transformer. Both modes are fun and have no glaring, unforgivable flaws.

Pick him up if you see him for sale!
