The head.
I’ll get this out of the way first.
Mixmaster is the worst of the Legends Constructicons. I like him the least.
You’ll see why in a minute.
Vehicle mode

Mixmaster starts off great. He’s a convincing cement mixer. It’s got no glaring faults and even the undercarriage is relatively clean. Apart from the angry face staring at you.
Mixmaster sadly cannot spin his mixing drum. He can however roll on all six of his wheels.
Far out man.
Head mode

Woah, that’s a really detailed head and face. Of all of the Constructicons, Mixmaster is probably the one with the best and most dedicated “Devastator” mode.
Transformation
The transformation to get to any mode is simple and straightforward.
Unfortunately, that leads us to something truly appalling…
Robot mode

What. Is. This.
He makes Long Haul look like a Masterpiece!
Seriously, Mixmaster is one of the more popular designs from ROTF and his Voyager figure is highly sought after. How could you go this far wrong?
There’s so much wrong here. Mixmaster has a horrible, tiny face. He’s got no discernible hands or claws. His legs are crap. He has no paint.
But worse than that.
He drags Devastator’s head like a tail. Look at it.
Geez, this is probably the absolute worst robot mode on a Legends figure I’ve ever dealt with.
For posability, Mixmaster has ball-jointed elbows and hips.
Toy or collectible?
The only reason anyone would get Mixmaster is to use him as Devastator’s head. Seriously, his robot mode is bad.
Closing
I understand that they had to do a lot with a small figure. But I just cannot accept how bad that robot mode is.
YOU MUST REMEMBER THOUGH.
Mixmaster is necessary to form Devastator. So bear with it.
For Devastator.
