This is in bad taste.
Do you know what I remember about the Jedi, Plo Koon? In Revenge Of The Sith he was one of the Jedi killed when the Clone Troopers turned on them. Plo Koon was shot down flying his starfighter. This figure has Plo Koon transforms into a starfighter.
I’m actually missing a bunch of stuff off this guy. He came with a big spaceship ring thing, two cannons and two lightsabers. I only have the base figure and none of the accessories.
Robot mode

Plo Koon is looking a bit on the thin side. His arms and legs are lanky. The short torso and weird shoulders don’t make him look any better. The back kibble is also not terrible but also does him no favours.
Okay, that’s the bad out of the way. The good is that he’s much more posable than I expected him to be. I came in expecting Armada/Energon level posability. This is way better than that. He’s only missing up and down at the head. If you disconnect his back kibble, he has a waist joint.
Vehicle mode

Plo Koon turns into a very well painted and detailed single seater Jedi fighter. Like seriously, from the top and sides you could mistake this for a model. The cockpit opens and has some detail inside it. There’s even a molded in droid on the ship.
Flipping the ship around, the illusion is kind of broken on the bottom. The visible arms and hands are a bummer. What’s not a bummer is the very neat landing gear. They slide out so nicely.
Closing
Plo Koon is much better than I thought he’d be. The vehicle mode is damn near flawless and the robot mode has great posability. I should track down a complete version of this mold. And maybe some more Star Wars and Crossover Transformers.
Primus almighty, I’ve fallen down another rabbit hole.
