He’s Hot Shot.

In the Age Of Extinction toyline there was a blue repaint of Crosshairs. His name was Hot Shot. In the Tiny Turbo Changers line there’s a blue repaint of Crosshairs. His name is Evac.

Yeah, I’m not convinced. This guy’s Hot Shot. He’s Hot Shot.

Packaging

Vehicle mode

It’s a dark blue car with no rolling wheels. But the wheels are painted. So are the side windows but not the front one. I mean I get it, there’s a joint there and the the paint would scratch off. But still, it’s weird.

Transformation

Somehow the transformation ends up being even simpler than the other Tiny Turbo Changers I reviewed. It’s still fun to go through modes back and forth though.

Robot mode

Okay, okay. Looking at the robot mode it makes sense why they wanted to call this guy Evac. The robot mode is pretty close to how Universal Studios Evac looks in robot mode.

The robot mode details are molded nicely. I especially like the tiny Autobot logo on his chest and his grumpy face. His paint is limited but that’s expected. I would have appreciated some for his eyes though.

Posability is limited as usual. Evac can rotate his arms 360° at the shoulders. His hands can hold 3mm weapons.

Toy or collectible?

Evac is more of a toy than a collectible. He’s cheap, simple and perfect for children.
Adult collectors could still enjoy him though but it seems you either love Tiny Turbo Changers or you don’t if you’re an adult collector.

Closing

As usual, I love me some Tiny Turbo Changer goodness. Evac here is no exception. I may even need to try and get a second copy of this one.
