A necessary sacrifice.

You guys know how I buy lots of toys? Like as in just lots at a time? Well sometimes I get broken Transformers with missing pieces.

The other day, I got a 2007 Legends Barricade in a lot of Transformers but he was missing a leg. Which was unfortunate cause I wanted someone for Legends Bee to beef with.

So that’s where this KO comes in. As you know, Machine Boy makes very good KOs with high quality plastic. I heard they made a collection of 1:1 KOs of the Movie Legends. This included Barricade.

Do you see where this is going?

Yup, I’m going to take the leg off this guy to give to the original Legends Barricade. Of course, that won’t really work if the plastic quality is significantly worse than the original or the size doesn’t match.

I’m glad to say old Machine Boy “Alterationman Cuard/Guard” here is solid! The plastic is not thin and he pegs together solid. He’s also a 1:1 size match for the original.

He is a bit lighter than the original though, so the plastic isn’t exactly the same. One of his feet is also prone to falling off. But I paid RM6 ($1.25) for him and at that price he’s great! I’d pay double that honestly.
