Japanese produced Roman Bust.

This guy here is an oddity I picked up from an old toy shop for RM20 ($5). Thing is, I’ve never seen him for sale after that so I’m not sure if that’s the normal price he goes for.

Looking at him, he’s painted really nicely and has lots of molded detail. Kinda reminds me of the busts Hot Toys makes. Except you know, smaller and much less expensive.

Also, Optimus can swivel his head. He has no posability in his arms and legs since he doesn’t have those.

Gimmicks

Push the button sticking out of his back and his windows open and the Matrix of Leadership comes out. The Matrix is removable. It’s kinda weird that there’s green detailing on it though.

Toy or collectible?

Optimus is a nicely detailed mini bust and he’s also pretty rare. That makes him a pretty sweet collectible!

I think a kid would get bored of this guy pretty fast, so you’re better off looking for toys elsewhere.

Optimus here is a nice bust and I totally recommend him.
