The tall one, not the fat one.
The Age Of Extinction Deluxe figure was not befitting of Lockdown. It was an okay figure, but it was not Lockdown. When the AOE Deluxe came out he was pretty brutally compared to the ROTF Deluxe that came out a few years beforehand.
Oddly enough, every Lockdown including the AOE Deluxe commands a premium price. However, I got lucky and scored the ROTF Deluxe Lockdown for cheap since he’s missing one arm and his engine block. Let’s take a look at it!
Robot mode

Dear Primus, Lockdown is tall. He’s like the same height as an ROTF Voyager which means he towers over AOE and TLK era Voyagers. Probably some DOTM ones too.
Also, he’s freaking intimidating. It’s the head that does it. The way his neck has so many joints is wrong. Speaking of his head, his light piping is menacing. His posability is great too. He’s only missing a waist swivel!
Vehicle mode

Lockdown is a fierce looking muscle car. There’s spikes and stuff everywhere. It’s some kind of next level transformation sorcery that his robot mode compresses down into this regular sized Deluxe car.
He looks kinda bare without his engine block though. Hmm…

Let me preface this by saying I like the AOE Lockdown design. I really want to get Unique Toys Peru Kill and the Studio Series Deluxe Lockdown at some point. But there’s just something special about the ROTF figure.
If you’re a fan of Animated, Movie-verse or Lockdown in general, you should get this figure. I’m gonna hunt down a complete copy of this guy at some point.
