He ugly but he also cute.

I remember saying people didn’t like Jazz when he came out. Well, a lot of people absolutely loathed Movie Deluxe Dreadwing when he was released.

I ended up with his black repaint, Overcast because he was cheap. All he was missing were his missiles!

Robot mode

Overcast has a unique looking robot mode. You either love it or loathe it. Personally, I think it’s goofy looking but at the same time kinda cute. This mold would be better suited being an Autobot.

His posability is good but not great. It’s good for a figure from 2007 who has such a weird design. He’s missing bicep swivels, thigh swivels and some movement at the feet. He has a waist swivel and a very posable head though so he’s still quite expressive.

Vehicle mode

There’s pretty much nothing to complain about in vehicle mode. Overcast’s a detailed jet with almost no noticeable robot kibble. His undercarriage is there and kinda thick but it’s not obviously robot parts.

Also, detailed cockpits in jet mode are always a plus. Good job, Overcast!

Closing

Overcast is objectively a good figure. He’s got a great jet mode and a decent amount of posability in robot mode. But his design makes him love or hate.

Take a look at the pictures and decide for yourself. Personally, I quite enjoy Overcast. I hope I can get his missiles for him at some point.
