Knockoff KO Diaclone Reboot Dia-Battles Version 2 Review

This guy’s the MVP!

“Minimum Viable Product” that is.
The original Dia-Battles costs about RM800 ($200) the last time I checked.

This low grade bootleg? He cost me RM12 ($3). Now to be fair I got him on sale half off. So his actual retail price is RM24 ($6).

So what do you get for this much money? Functionality wise, quite a lot. This rainbow coloured brother can actually do most of what his original high end counterpart can do.

He can turn into the giant robot and separate into three different vehicles. The three different vehicles can combine into a bunch of super vehicle mode configurations. You can combine all three or combine two. You can configure those into a bunch of distinct vehicle modes as well.

Make no mistake. This is a low quality, shampoo bottle plastic knockoff. They took away everything they didn’t think was necessary. A lot of his posability, his tasteful colours and the polish of the original in general. All taken away.

Still, for the price I paid, I’m absolutely loving this guy.
