He’s chubby and likes to ski.

I actually have quite fond memories of the Energon cartoon. I remember that the Decepticons resident three stooges were always entertaining to watch.

Snow Cat here is one third of that party. Let’s take a quick look at my incomplete copy of his figure.

Robot mode

Like I said in the title, Snow Cat is a chubby boi. Must have been chowing down on too much Energon.

He’s supposed to be able to deploy his two “Hyper Power” cannons and skis in this mode, but I’m missing them. Sadface.

Handling the figure for the first time, I was surprised by how much posability he had. He’s not super posable, but I assumed he was a brick. He’s really only missing thigh swivels and some movement at the ankles.

Vehicle mode

Even with all the parts I’m missing, Snow Cat still looks good in vehicle mode. The detailed interior in particular looks great. The windshield wiper actually moves!

He’s supposed to he able to deploy his skis and cannons in this mode too, but they are nowhere to be found. He’s still got his two smaller ones for the front tires though, so that’s something!

Closing

Without his cannons and skis I’m missing a lot of Snow Cat’s personality in robot mode. Also, obviously his vehicle mode. I’m going to hunt down a complete copy of Snow Cat.

Energon is pretty much forgotten about or outright ignored most of the time. While there is a reason for that it’s a shame. Guys like Snow Cat here deserve a chance!
