Feeling lucky punk?
I got Ironhide here pretty cheap because he was missing his cannons. Yes, I know they’re an integral part of his character since he’s the weapons expert. BUT. I got a some other weapons for him to try. Let’s see if he looks good with any.
Robot mode

Out of the original five Autobots in the first Bayformers movie, Bumblebee was the most accurate first pass at the on-screen design.Ironhide here is a close second. Like Jazz, most of the details are there. It’s just unlike Jazz, the proportions aren’t that inaccurate. His posability is good but he’s missing a waist swivel and movement at his feet. That said he’s too clunky for certain poses and his balance isn’t the best.About the weapons, he’s got the DOTM KO gun on one side and a random weapon from Recon Ironhide on the other. Not bad looking, not bad at all.
Vehicle mode

For a first try, this truck mode is exceptional. Hasbro got 100 marks right off the bat! This is the regular Voyager Ironhide, not the Premium Voyager Ironhide. That said, in hindsight from 2019, his paint is very nice.We didn’t know how lucky we had it in 2007 did we?

Objectively speaking, the Movie Masterpiece and Studio Series should make this guy obsolete. But most Movie 2007 figure have a certain feeling that makes them feel good. Ironhide is definitely one of them.I actually already have a complete Revenge of The Fallen version of this mold. However, I am going to hunt down another complete version of this mold at some point.Question is, which one?The original Voyager, the Premium version or the Recon version?PS: Movie 2007 Voyager Ironhide with ROTF Voyager Ironhide cannons.
