Honestly, this guy is one of the most disappointing figures I’ve ever gotten.

Robot mode

The kibble man. The back kibble. It gets in the way of everything.

It is frustration incarnate.

If they had fixed the damn back kibble before releasing him, Hot Shot here would have been a great figure. He looks good and has the posability. It’s just the kibble makes me not want to pose him. At all.

Also, no gigantic rocket launcher. Sad.

Vehicle mode

Now this mode has no problems. It’s just a sporty car that rolls. It’s nicely painted and well detailed. Also, check out the license plate.

Nice.

Closing

Hot Shot here has the potential to be a good figure. He sacrificed his axelzooka and cowcatcher for it. And the kibble just ruins it.

I hope the idea of a super posable update of Hot Shot gets revisited at some point.

Cause this just ain’t it man.
