Megatron here is a pretty prolific KO. He’s made by a company called Machine Boy. Or Mengbadi. That’s a bit of an iffy subject. He shows up everywhere in Malaysian retail stores as well as online.

At his cheapest, you can get him new for RM10 ($2.50) and he never goes for more than RM20 ($5). For the price, Megatron offers a lot bang for your buck.

He’s got a full coat of shiny silver paint, is made of thick, meaty plastic and has sharp detail all around. That said, since he’s a KO, quality control is an issue, so some copies have loose and wiggly joints.

This Megatron here is now my go-to birthday and Christmas gift for any child old enough to handle him. And he has a permanent place in my collection.
