Blue Shockwave?
No, he’s not Shockwave.
He’s Whirl! An Autobot as psychotic and violent as a Decepticon.
Unfortunately for him, I’m missing his biggest gun. But he’ll be creative and make due with his other three weapons I’m sure.
Robot mode

Whirl is a freaky looking robot mode. He really, really, really looks like the G1 toy. But also, if he weren’t so brightly coloured, he would look like a Bayformer. Paradoxical.
He has a neat detail on his head. Flipping the antenna down “offs” his light piping.
His posability is good, but he’s missing a waist joint. Wrist swivels too, but with hands like that I don’t see the point in them. Also, because of the way his posability works, if you think he looks too skinny, you can transform him like the pictures above to make him look more buff.
Whirl was supposed to come with four weapons, but I’m missing his big laser cannon. I still got his taser and rocket launcher though as well as whatever that third thing is. Whirl’s well armed and ready for a party.
Gerwalk mode

Whirl has an official gerwalk mode called a heloped. It’s neat like all gerwalk modes are. However, his balance is a bit wonky in this mode. Small complaint.
Vehicle mode

Whirl turns into a pretty nice looking attack helicopter. He has skis instead of landing gear and a rocket on his back.
I love it.
He has an opening cockpit that’s nicely detailed as well as mounting points for a ton of weapons.
Closing
I’m not too fussed about tracking down his missing gun. Having said that, I think Whirl is a fun time and I recommend you give him a shot.
