He has a tiny face in his crotch.
You gotta admit that is a striking title.
The crotch face is what most people remember about this guy.
But is there more to this tiny take on Revenge Of The Fallen Megatron?
Let’s take a look and find out.
Vehicle mode

Megatron turns into a reasonably accurate Cybertronian tank. Unfortunately, his accuracy is hampered by two things.
i) He’s based on earlier concept art.
ii) He’s a Legends class Transformer.
He’s got a nice amount of molded detail on him but he’s a bit lacking in paint. The aforementioned crotch face ends up at the front of the tank and is unpainted, which is fortunate because that would be nightmare inducing.
In terms of functionality as a tank, his turret can aim up and down but not side to side. He can also roll around tanks to the tiny wheels on the bottom of his threads.
Transformation
Unfold and bring down his legs then pull his arms to the sides.
You’re done. Congratulations! Robot mode.

Somehow, ROTF Legends Megatron actually ends up with more screen accurate proportions than ROTF Leader Megatron. His arms are still different sized but don’t end up overly asymmetric. Go tiny Megatron!
In terms of sculpt though…
That face is just hideous. It’s reasonably accurate and Megatron is supposed to be horrifying. But that face is more ugly than scary.
For a Legends class Transformer, Megatron here has good posability. His arms are ball-jointed at the shoulder and have bending elbows. His hips are ball-jointed and have a bend due to the transformation. Unfortunately, if you bend the knee past a certain point, it looks wrong. Still, that’s enough for some good poses.
Toy or collectible?
More toy than collectible. He’s cheap and quick to transform which is to the benefit of children. He’s still available for cheap too, whether it’s this version or other releases of this mold.
Adult collectors would probably be okay to pass on this guy. He’s good but not that rare, unique or exceptionally great.
Closing
ROTF Legends Megatron here is a good Legends figure, but he’s not great like the other two Legends Megatrons I’ve reviewed before.
Still, he’s good and available for cheap. He’ll make for a nice, low cost afternoon of fun if you decide to get him.
