Starscream was bad, Optimus is horrid.
To begin with the original Movie Legends Optimus Prime was a bad figure.
KFC took that figure, and made it so much worse.

Look at his face. Is that a face?!
They simplified it to the point he has no legs.
And his arms are stuck in the air like that.
Look at it! They’re permanently in that position.
Arguably, Starscream sacrificed his vehicle mode for his robot mode. It’s inarguable that Optimus sacrificed his robot mode for his truck mode.
It’s actually pretty good for a fast food toy. He even has tiny wheels on the bottom to roll around. My only major gripe in vehicle mode is that he has four molded on big wheels when he should have six.
It does not redeem the robot mode whatsoever.
