Tiny tyrant gun.
This guy lit my brain on fire when he was first announced all those years ago?
A Legends gun Megatron? Yes.
It can be held by Masterpiece Starscream? Yes.
It has an orange tip? YES.
Wait. Forget that last part. That last one is bad.
Alternate mode

He’s a tiny, well painted, silver and black gun.
With an orange tip at the end of the barrel. I take back what I said earlier, the orange tip isn’t bad. It’s hillarious.
This guy is endless fun. You can carry around the gun yourself and make “pew pew” noises.
Or you can give him to any bigger Transformer with suitable hands (like Masterpiece Starscream). And then male “pew pew” noises.
Truly amazing.
Transformation
The transformation is much more involved than the average Hasbro Legends scale Transformer. It’s intuitive and frankly brilliant.
Robot mode

Woah. He looks so good.
He’s really G1 flavoured. Moreso than almost all the Megatrons that were around at the time of his release.
He has a fusion cannon on his right arm man! A fusion cannon with an orange tip. Just pretend it’s hot from all of the… fusion.
His posablity is good for a Legends figure, although not as good as the other Legends Megatron I reviewed before. He has ball jointed shoulders, hips and knees. He can also look down due to his transformation.
A really, really nice robot mode.
Toy or collectible?
I can’t recommend this guy as a toy because he can go for a lot of money depending on the condition. For the same price, you’re better off getting your kid a 3-Step Changer or a Rescue Bot.
If you’re an adult who collects Transformers this guy is a must. Seriously, he’s the best gun Megatron Hasbro has ever released! Even if you have a Masterpiece Megatron (or any of the numerous other MP scale Megatron options), you should still get this guy just because of his novelty factor.
Closing
Get him. Get him even if you don’t collect Legends scale Transformers. He’s that good. Plus, you can never have too many Megatrons in you’re collection.
Right?
