Transformers Revenge Of The Fallen Legends Starscream Review

This is possibly, the worst Legends scale figure ever made.

But I still love him, because he is Starscream.

Vehicle Mode

He is a “jet”. More accurately, he is a jet with a robot doing yoga underneath. He has no landing gear so he always sits weird in jet mode.

Surprisingly, his paint is pretty good for a Legends class. It’s a pretty close match to the Voyager that came out the same time.

Transformation

It’s not a good transformation. It is not. It’s just Starscream undoing his yoga pose and standing up. Ugh.

Robot Mode

Things get better here. He is pretty close to his on-screen appearance, especially at this scale. He’s decently expressive for his size too. He has ball joint shoulders and elbows. He has ball jointed but very restricted hips. He can sit down due to his transformation.

His weak point is his weird balance. My copy can’t really stand well and needs to be balanced just right. Which is my bad luck, because other copies I’ve played with don’t have this problem. Hopefully yours won’t have it either.

Toy or collectible?

I’m gonna level with you. The only reason you’d want this guy as a toy or collectible is if you collect Starscreams (like me) or enjoy bad figures (also like me). His vehicle mode really is just bad. Even his decent to good robot mode can’t save him.

Closing

As a toy and a collectible, he’s pretty bad. The robot mode is okay, but the jet mode and transformation man. Even for a Legends class it’s hard to be forgiving.

Luckily, he is a Starscream. So by default he gets 10 out of 4 stars. Go get him.

And luckily for everyone else, there was a much better Movie-verse Legends Starscream released for Dark Of The Moon.
