The drone Bee.
You probably own at least one copy of this guy. There are probably a literal million of this mold in circulation.
Vehicle mode

A cute little car mode that rolls well. It would fit right in with your Hot Wheels.
Honestly at this size, I don’t think you could get a better car mode.
Transformation
Simple and gets the job done. This design is still being used as a template for generic TF clones everywhere.
Robot mode

It’s a tiny Bumblebee.
His arms and legs move at the shoulders and hips. They’re connected via balljoints so you can eek out some poses from him.
Honestly, he’s adorable.
Toy or collectible?
Toy. Toy all the way. He’s small, durable and inexpensive. Also, he’s fun. Perfect for a child.
As a collectible? At this point, you either have a dozen of the hive or you have sworn of Bumblebees for the rest of your life. I am in the former camp.
Closing
Go get him. He’s nice and with the amount of repaints available, you could probably find one at a flea market or thrift shop for a quarter.
P.S: Come to think of it, I actually did get one for RM2 ($0.50) at a thrift shop the other day. He looks like this now because I tried and failed at repainting him into an evil Bee.
