The alternate title of this post is “Why I’m sad”.

Binaltech/Alternators Bumblebee

I love Alternators and Binaltech. These days people think they’re kind of dated, but I still think the majority of them are awesome.

So seeing this design physically pains me, because:

1) I love Alternators and Binaltechs.

2) I love Beetles, new and old.

3) I am a (closet) Bumblebee fan.

Instead of the beautiful design above, we got this.

“Why I’m sad” indeed.

I’d be over the moon if some third party took the Alternator design and ran with it. But that’s only a dream.

A beautiful dream.
