Transformers Universe 2.0 Legends Megatron Review

Tiny tank, big personality.

I remember when Legends class Transformers were cheap and cheerful at RM19.90 (5$) a piece. Now they cost almost twice as much and my back hurts.
Let’s remember better times with this tiny hidden (haha, camo jokes) gem.

Vehicle mode

He’s a tiny green and purple tank.
You heard me, green and purple. He wears it handsomely.
He pegs in nice and tight and has functional rolling wheels.
The only downsides are his static tank turret and cannon. And his exposed fists, I suppose.
But at this size, I can forgive it.

Transformation

Simple and to the point. Nice and functional. I bet you could guess just by looking at the pictures.

Robot mode

Look at him. He somehow looks menacing and adorable.
At the time he was released, he was one of the most posable legends class Transformers available. He still is. The only thing he’s missing is elbows. Pretty much everything else is there.

Toy or collectible?

He’s a really fun toy for either an adult or a child. Also, even though he’s tiny, he’s surprisingly durable. He could stand a beating from a child but I wouldn’t give him to one too young. He’s small enough to swallow whole.
I don’t think you could call it a collectible because he’s still reasonably priced and easy to get in a variety of colours.

Closing

You should track this guy down. He’s really fun and is probably in my top 3 for legends class Transformers.
He has a couple of repaints available so he should be available for a reasonable price new or used.
